―Services for Belle K. Forrest, 94, of Route 1, Tuscola, who died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Care Inn Nursing Home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.
The Rev Terry Moffett of Buffalo Gap Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be at IOOF Cemetery.
Born Oct 29, 1888, in San Saba County, she came to Taylor County as an infant and had lived here most of her life. She married Perry Forrest April 20, 1905, in Taylor County. He died in 1928. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by three children, Louis, who died Dec 6, 1982 and Elbert and Hazel Forrest.
Survivors include four daughters, Ila Mae McCollum of Tuscola, Othrene Young, Vivian Muston and Audine Doran, all of Abilene; three sons, Ira of Tuscola, Lester of Evant and Wayne of Hawley, a daughter-on-law, Callie Forrest of Abilene; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Wayne, Phillip, Douglas and Darrel Forrest, Don Willis, Mack Mowdoin, Sidney Mack Young and Phillip Ammons.‖
