This hallway was lined with maps of the Roman Empire's rise and fall until you got to the end with the final map of Italy today. It also had detailed maps of each state of Italy. (That camera I am holding is actually not mine; one of our poor travel companions started trying to have a heart attack, so I offered to take pictures for her while she rested.)
